2021 Ford Escape Overview

What's New for 2021?

For 2021, the Ford Escape has added the availability of its hybrid powertrains to two of its existing trims: the SE and the SEL. For the Titanium trim, the hybrid powertrain is now standard.

There have been additions in the technology department as well. New safety features join the Ford Escape's lineup, with adaptive cruise control and traffic-sign recognition being added to the available Co-Pilot360 Plus package. For added convenience, the new Ford Escape now has the following features:

  • Hands-free power liftgate
  • Keyless entry pad
  • LED exterior lighting
  • 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat

Performance

Under the hood of the 2021 Ford Escape, you will find that its engine matches its sporty aesthetic. Miamisburg drivers will be able to use the 181-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine to their advantage on their daily drives.

For local drivers who want to get the most out of their SUV, we recommend trying the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which can generate 250 horsepower and propel you from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 5.7 seconds.

If you're looking for a more green driving experience, check out the fuel-efficient Ford Espace hybrid models. These two models both use the same powertrain, which consists of two electric motors and a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, combining to make a total of 221 horsepower.

Technology

The new Ford Escape offers a wide variety of entertainment and convenience technology to Miamisburg drivers. With the base model, you can take advantage of the 4.2-inch display, which has AM/FM radio. The Ford Escape SE nearly doubles this screen in size to 8.0 inches. This display has Sync 3, which is Ford's infotainment interface. For drivers looking to go above and beyond with their in-car tech, the Titanium model should be high on your list. With a 12.3-inch digital display gauge, in-dash navigation, and an available heads-up display, the 2021 Ford Escape Titanium epitomizes the term "high-tech."
